About the Event

This is a 4-hour program presented by a United States Marine Corps and 17-year law enforcement veteran with 11 years experience as a certified instructor. Certifications include: Georgia POST General Instructor, Situational Awareness Instructor, NRA Firearms Instructor, Mass Shooting Instructor. He is also a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

The seminar discusses the State of Virginia requirements on when you can use force utilizing Virginia case law. This class is designed for individuals that are already gun owners. Using force is a highly controversial topic and many don't really understand when they can or should use force, including deadly force. In addition, there is also a discussion what happens after force is used in a self-defense situation and what to do.

After the presentation, there will be an practical exercise with a firearms computer simulator. The participant will be faced with a situation (50 different simulations) and will be required to engage in that situation. Depending upon the class size, not everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the simulation.

There is absolutely no live ammunition or firearms allowed in the classroom.
